What we will not do
This is not a replacement for 911
If you are in danger, call 911. Cape Dispatch can be late, incomplete or wrong. Radio is transcribed by software and software mishears.
We withhold sensitive calls. Juvenile, domestic, mental-health and overdose incidents are never published with an address, a transcript or audio. Somebody's worst day is not content.
We never sell member data, and we do not put life-safety alerts behind a paywall.
